Why Will Many Burn In Hell?

We cannot judge here on Earth who will go to hell or who won't, but the Bible gives us a clear view of a group of people who will go to hell and most especially “why many will burn in hell”(be destroyed in hell).

We’ll be looking specifically at why the majority of people that’ll end up in hell would be found there, as per revelation given by the Holy Spirit with scriptural references.

Let's look at something in the book of 1 Corinthians 6:12-20, but specifically from verse 18-20.

18 "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

19  Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 

20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

1. The verse 18 of the above scripture show us the first reason why many will burn in Hell and it's that; we perform sexual immorality with the temple of God, our bodies, verse 15 says that our bodies are members of the body of Christ. And our bodies are temples hence when we  practice sexual sin, we sin against our body, the body of Christ, which is the temple of God.

Even here on Earth, one cannot go to a shrine or a holy place and sin there, the spirits of that place will punish them. That's how it is here too, when you sin sexually, you sin against the temple of God, you defile it and make it filthy therefore the punishment, is to burn in hell, since your body is no more valuable to God again. 

2. Verse 19 gives us the second point and i.e. our bodies are the temples of the precious Holy Spirit. Because we have been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ. And we belong to Him and He lives in His temple, which is our bodies. Can you sack a house owner from, and deprive him of His own house?

That's what we are doing with the precious HOLY GHOST We are depriving the Holy Spirit off His own property, His own home, it's never fair. He's been faithful and loving to us, is this how we will pay Him back, because our bodies are His temples, he keeps us alive and healthy, we must be grateful and appreciate this Love.

We deprive the Holy Spirit of His home that is why many will burn in hell.

3. Verse 20 says the next reason and it's that we must honor God with our bodies, but here lies the case we don't do it.

We rather honor satan with our bodies and make the devil happy but he'll destroy us in the end, but God will reward all who honor Him with their bodies.

Offer yourself as living sacrifices, Holy and acceptable unto God, for this is our true WORSHIP.

We are not worshipping God if we are not living Holy, and offering our bodies as living sacrifices unto Him.

Let’s look also at something in 1 Corinthians 3:16 & 17  to prove the points made 

16  “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”

17  “If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.”

From the above, we see in verse 17 that “God will destroy that person”, who destroys God’s temple.

So;

-How does one destroy God’s temple?

The answer is; By doing all the above 3 listed and more, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20

-How does God destroy a person ?

It by condemnation to Hell. Once you destroy God’s temple and do not repent from doing so, you’ll be condemned to Hell. 

All the above apply to anyone who ;

I. Has not been born again

II. Has gone apostate (has left the faith of Jesus Christ)

III. Has backsliden  and is not willing to repent

 This is “Why Many Will Be Destroyed/Burn In Hell”.

‭‭Hence, Make it a point to avoid and prevent Hell at all cost.
