THE NEW BITH; BEING BORN AGAIN

Image
John 3:1-8 NIV 1 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the sign you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again (The Greek for ‘again’ also means ‘from above’; also,  in verse 7) 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound from where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with every...

IS A BELIEVER THE SAME AS A CHRISTIAN?; What Is The Difference?

Image
I was studying the Word of God one day and I came upon the verse 4 of 1 Thessalonians 5 and I was reading in the NIV version and I wanted to compare versions with the AMP version so I checked and the first parts of the verse caught my attention:    “ But you,  believers, [all you who believe in Christ as Savior and acknowledge Him as God ’ s Son ]… ”  ‭‭ 1 Thessalonians   5:4   AMP ‬   The AMP version defined who a believer is. On seeing this I took it into meditation to understand. I didn’t ask the question until a few days later when I was preparing to teach the Youth Ministry of our church then the question came into my spirit;  Is a Believer the same as a Christian? Then I was led to find out through the Word of God if they are the same or not and here’s what I found:   Per the above Bible verse, a believer is one who believes in Jesus Christ as Savior. Meaning they acknowledge that Jesus came into the world to die to save us of the wrath...

THE LORD’s HAPPIEST DAY

Image
I pray for you that; May the Lord Jesus Christ give you spiritual understanding to understand this Holy Mystery as you read this message  AMEN! ‬‬ Song of Songs   3:11   NIV … come out, and look, you daughters of Zion. Look on King Solomon wearing a crown, the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his wedding, the day his heart rejoiced.   King Solomon here represented the Lord Jesus Christ.  The mystery here in this portion of Songs of Songs speaks of the day the King (Jesus Christ) wedded His bride (the church), the Lord’s happiest day .  On that day, not only did we become children of God, but we also became brides; wives to Jesus. But something more profound happened, the Lord Jesus was crown as King on the same day He wedded us to be His bride (the day of salvation), meaning Jesus was not king until we became His and on the day we became His, He was crowned King. Hence without the bride (the church) He is not King. He needs us to be His...

THE SHEDDINGS OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST AND THEIR MEANINGS

Image
We see various accounts of the blood of Jesus Christ shed at  various locations  and from  various parts of His body  in the Bible. These various locations where the blood of Jesus Christ was shed and the various parts of His body from whence the blood was shed have very profound meanings, significance and importance to the body of Christ Jesus our Lord; the Church. Let’s take a look into these hidden mysteries revealed by the Holy Spirit to the Church.   1.  At the Mount Olives; Gethsemane: Matthew 26:36-46, Mark 14:32-42, Luke 22:39-45 •Where His sweat turn into blood while He was praying.    Meaning/significance/Importance: - for the  healing of our soul  The soul consists of the emotions, mind, will, intellect. And at the time (Luke 22:44) Jesus was in anguish, troubled and in despair (emotions) in His soul (Mark 14:33-34).  Hence His sweat was turn into blood that was shed so that our souls may be healed from all forms of depre...

WHO is ETERNAL LIFE ?

Image
We know  what  eternal life is, that it is a special life we attain outside of sin when we accept and receive Jesus Christ as our lord and savior and allow Him to come live in us. We receive this gift of eternal life to live forever in Glory when we depart this earth. But did we know that eternal life is also a  Who  (person) as much as it is a  What  (a thing)? Let me show you what the Bible says that will marvel your thinking and understanding. 1 John 5:20 says,  “ We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us  understanding , so that we may know  H im   who is true . And we are in  Hi m  who is true  by being in  H is   Son Jesus Christ.  He   is the true God and  eternal life . ” The above verse speaks something amazing to us, that Jesus Christ came to this earth to also give us some level of  understanding  as much as Jesus came to save us. The  understanding...

Principles that ensure answered prayers from God and that we receive whatever we ask from God :

Image
These “principles” are not derived from any book written by men or from the life experiences of men. These are called “principles” because there is an act and there is a result and they are hidden (maybe obvious) words in the Bible but need to be reveled to the sight of God’s children. These “principles” are not some “try and error” and they do not “work for a certain group of people”. These are biblical facts and anyone that follows these words of God will see the results. The key here is knowing and following the Word of God to the core.     Now let’s get into these words of God I call “principles”;   1 John   3 :19- 23   NIV 19  “This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20  If our hearts condemn us,  we know  that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.” 21  “Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us,   we have confidence  bef...
